Dear 4B,
Please remember to do your holiday homework. Do not give me any excuses when we come back on the first day of school as you know I would really get very upset with you. ^_^. okay? You can also take the chance to complete the rest of the lead.com activities as it is a great resource place to get a head start or simply for revision purposes.
You have one month to do it so I wish you happy holidays~
Please do not depend merely on the holiday homework. Do your own revision and study ahead whenever you can. It is reasonable to expect that you spend at least 2 hours a day to gain more knowledge through revision or reading up on next term work~ All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. But all play and no work might make Jack a dumb boy.
Please complete the homework latest by Monday 30th June 2008
Warmest regards
Mr Lu ^_^

Results of deserving pupils who should be going to Perth if they pass the interview.Part 1
Dear 4B,
This isn't easy for me to decide as you should know by now . Out of forty of you, I can only choose 3-4... If I had the choice, I would have love to see all of you experiencing Perth. It is a very nice place and I enjoyed myself on my educational trip as a pupil. Back then, I was just as excited as all of you, hoping to be selected.
I guess that's life, someone would be happy while others, disappointed. Do cheer up if you are not selected and look forward to your P4 adventure camp where everyone will get to go.
Please work hard in your daily work and do well for you SA2. (worth 60%) especially for those who have not done well (79 marks or lesser). Remember, I want all of you to remain as a class. One for all and all for one!~ Please revise very hard and study ahead during the June holidays in order to catch up with the rest of the class. You can bring a horse to the water but you cannot force it to drink. Help me help you.
Finally, I will like to congratulate the following four pupils who have proven to be deserving pupils for the trip. Believe me, it was really a close competition and a extremely difficult decision to make. Let's give them a round of applause. I want the four of you to work extra hard as you would be missing one week of lesson so do not break our hearts. In return, you would be getting an enriching experience that would stay for the rest of your life. Trust me, I still remember my Perth trip fondly. Good luck for your second round~ Out of the 32 from the 8 classes, only 24 will get to go eventually, hence do your best for the interview the four of you~ Do your best for the remaining broken hearts...

Happy Mothers' Day!
Dear 4B,
Mother's Day is a day honoring mothers, celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It complements Father's Day, the celebration honoring fathers.
Different countries celebrate Mother's Day on various days of the year because the day has a number of different origins.
One school of thought claims this day emerged from a custom of mother worship in ancient Greece, which kept a festival to Cybele, a great mother of Greek gods. This festival was held around the Vernal Equinox around Asia Minor and eventually in Rome itself from the Ides of March (15 March) to 18 March.
The ancient Romans also had another holiday, Matronalia, that was dedicated to Juno, though mothers were usually given gifts on this day.
In some countries Mother's Day began not as a celebration for individual mothers but rather for Christians.
You can find out more details from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother's_Day
So...have you wished your mummy and gave a hug yet?
Warmest regards

Sudoku doesn't require any special math skills or calculations. It is a simple and fun game of logic -- all that's needed is brains and concentration.
There is really only one rule to Sudoku: Fill in the game board so that the numbers 1 through 9 occur exactly once in each row, column, and 3x3 box. The numbers can appear in any order and diagonals are not considered. Your initial game board will consist of several numbers that are already placed. Those numbers cannot be changed. Your goal is to fill in the empty squares following the simple rule above.
Many of the games available on Sudoku.com feature unique twists on Sudoku basics. Experiment with the different Sudoku games and discover these exciting variations!
